Customers receive Loyalty Points at the point of sale by swiping their Loyalty Card (similar to a Credit Card) through the terminal. The customers name and balance appears on the display.
The Loyalty Points can be either redeemed as a method of payment against the purchase of goods or saved for use against future sales. Passive - Cash Register / Epos Terminal (Instant Loyalty Professional)
The operation is similar to the real time version but the customers name and balance does not appear on the terminal . The card number is stored on the terminal and downloaded to the head office PC - usually overnight.
The system then generates Vouchers that are sent to customers to be redeemed against purchases at any qualifying outlets.
How it works
First you need to set up Loyalty Schemes. These could be Platinum, Gold, Silver & Bronze etc...
You decide how much each customer has to spend before points are awarded and then decide how many points are to be awarded per £ spent.
A typical Card Scheme (Platinum)

In the above example the customer will earn (10) points for every £1.00 spent, based on a minimum spend of £2.50 before points are awarded.
You are able to advance or decrease to certain schemes, depending on spending criteria.
Then you need to obtain your customers details...
Standard details would be: Name, Address, Telephone number etc...

The more information obtained, will enable greater manipulation of the database. For example it is possible to create your own unique user fields, e.g. Favourite Sport, Drink, Food etc...
You may award your customers' FREE points as an incentive for them providing the information.
As you can see in the above example it is also possible to keep a photo of your customer within the database. (See separate overview on Instant Leisure)
When you have this basic information - your own unique Report Filters can be created...

Above are examples of Report Filters. Quite simply if you have obtained the relevant information from your customers you can create a Report Filter to suit!
Here we want to know how many of our customers are football fans.
Only 3 customers match the criteria applied (unlikely)
Other scenarios could be: -
Your only limit is imagination!
With all the information to hand, now you can communicate with your customers in any of the following ways...
Send an SMS "Text" message - up to 300 messages can be sent per hour!

Say you are a Public House and have a BIG MATCH live on Sky Sports, why not offer your customer a FREE drink, should they watch the Match with you
Send a Special Offer/Discount Voucher, via Mail or email.

Send a letter just to let your customers know you are thinking about them.

Sending a letter does not mean you have to give any money away, however if you have a Special Interest occasion, why not let your customers know about it?
Say you have a Country & Western night planned, simply find which customers enjoy this type of music and invite them along.
Why not send the letter as an email attachment. Record notes against each of your customers.

Useful notes can be recorded about your companies relationship with its customers. They are archived in Date / Time format for later recall, as shown below.

Of course these notes can be copied and pasted into Word Processing programs, like MS Word etc...
Useful Functions
Card Functions

All card management functions are available within the Card Functions and Maintenance screen as shown above. For example: -
Transaction - Viewer

All of your customers visits are recorded here in the Transaction Viewer. Dates / Times and amount / spent can be seen at a glance.
Also it is possible to view history on any of the following, by simply clicking on the appropriate section.
Outstanding Voucher Liability

The total liability of any outstanding Vouchers can be seen here, including the cost in both points and monetary value.
Security
The screens are user definable, to suit the security level of each operator. Thus parts of the software that an operator does not have access rights to are not just greyed out; they simply do not appear on the menu at all.

Reports
The software reports are generated using the very powerful "Crystal Reports" engine, meaning that all reports can be exported to industry standard spreadsheet applications, such as MS Excel etc...
Reports can also be emailed anywhere in the world!

Also reports can be written specifically to suit your needs.
